Self Guided Fishing

Our Ketchikan rental boats provide a very economical and fun way to enjoy self guided fishing in Alaska. There are many nearby locations to fish for salmon, halibut, Rock Fish, or Dungeness crab. Our custom Alaska rental boats will get you to the fishing grounds in comfort.

Why Self Guided?

Some people like to set their own schedule, while others like the challenge of catching their own fish. Self guided fisherman also enjoy more liberal bag limits. Self guided fisherman in Southeast Alaska are still allowed 2 halibut per day of any size. Guided fisherman are currently limited to one halibut per day.

DIY Fishing Boat Rentals

Most Alaska rental boats are small open skiffs. Compared to these boats, our rental boats are larger, more stable and provide shelter from the sun or rain. Our rental boats come fully equipped to enhance your Alaska fishing trip.

New Custom Crozier Craft Rental Boats

We are excited to offer two custom 22' hard top sport fishing boats built by Crozier Craft. We are very happy with the quality of workmanship that Crozier Craft provides. Our new rental boats are powered with a 200hp Yamaha main engine, and a Yamaha 9.9 trolling motor. In addition, the boats are equipped with a chart plotter, fish finder, and a marine VHF.
